Welcome to the Rod Jones Photography web site. I bought my first SLR several decades ago... I've been clicking away at things ever since, and I'm happy to share the results with you. I find myself taking mostly landscape, seascape and weather related shots, but I also enjoy looking for any humour in a shot. I was born in the UK, although I've been fortunate in working in both the European mainland and America. A situation I exploited to the full, photographically. I am now based in south-west France. The digital revolution has of course been liberating for the photographer, and as well as taking digital pics for the last six years and becoming a major fan of Adobe® Photoshop, I've also recently finished hi-res scans of more than 6,000 Kodachrome® and Ektachrome® slides onto my PC. Rod Jones Photography offers stock photographs, scanning and photo restoration, as well as other photography related services. All images on this site are available for purchase.
